EU team to come to Nepal again for on-site study on air safety
KATHMANDU, Nov 30: The European Union (EU) team, which has been blacklisting Nepali Airlines, is going to come to Nepal again to conduct an on-site study of the aviation sector.
Nepal has continued to be included in the air safety list updated by the EU last time.
The european union aviation safety agency (easa) under the EU, which has continued to include Nepal in the 'Aviation Safety List', is going to send another team to Nepal for on-site testing.
Earlier, the EU team came to Nepal last October.
The team conducted an air safety audit in Nepal from October 6th to 8th (3 days).
The team submitted its report to the EU Air Safety Committee on November 10-11. Then the EU issued a new air safety list.
EU Ambassador Nona Deprez and Director General of CAAN Pradeep Adhikari issued a joint statement on Monday and informed that the EU is going to conduct an 'on-site assessment visit' to Nepal.
