Manakamana Cable Car highest tax payer amongst tourism sector

KATHMANDU, Nov 23: Manakamana Cable Car Pvt Ltd has been honored for the highest tax paying from the tourism sector in the last fical year.

On the occasion of the 11th National Tax Day, the Inland Revenue Department (IRD) honored the Manakamana Cable Car Company.

This company, which is operating the cable car in Manakamana, has been providing service for 24 years. The company is going to start another hotel project on Nepal's popular cable car.

Recently, the company has modernized the technology of the cable car and is also upgrading the services and facilities.
