Nepal Airlines suspends domestic flight

 

KATHMANDU, Nov 20: The domestic flight of Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) TwinOtter aircraft has been affected due to technical problems.

Archana Khadka, spokesperson of NAC, informed that the plane flying from Kathmandu to Bhojpur was turned back after a technical problem. There were 15 people on board.

All domestic flights of NAC have been canceled due to a technical problem in only one plane that can be flown in domestic flights. The scheduled flight on Friday and Saturday has also been canceled after the plane was grounded. NAC said that the fare of the passengers who could not go to their destination will be refunded.
     
According to NAC, the corporation has three Twin Otter planes in domestic flights, one of which cannot be repaired and the other plane has been undergoing technical maintenance for a long time.
