Saurya Airlines to flying from Kathmandu-Pokhara from January
KATHMANDU, Nov 17: Saurya Airlines is going to fly Kathmandu-Pokhara for the first time.
The airline is going to start domestic flights at Pokhara Regional International Airport from January through jet aircraft.
Saurya has prepared four daily flights between Kathmandu-Pokhara-Kathmandu through a 50-seat capacity jet.
Mukesh Khanal, the airline's marketing manager, said that permission is being sought from the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN).
'A written permission for the flight is yet to be obtained. After the calibration of the airport, we will go in cooperation with the authorities,' Khanal said .
Also, Saurya is preparing to fly Kathmandu-Nepalgunj again from this November. About two years ago, Saurya stopped flying to this destination.
The airline currently flies to 6 different destinations.
