Buddha Air ATR-72 conduct a test flight in surkhet airport

SURKHET, Nov 16: Buddha Air has conducted a successful test flight with ATR 72 aircraft at Surkhet Airport. Buddha made a test flight in Surkhet on Wednesday with ATR 72 aircraft. The company has informed that it has conducted test flights at this airport since January 2023 with the goal of making 2 flights per day.

Buddha Air has been operating regular flights to Surkhet since 1st February 2013 from aircraft and from the last 5 years from ATR 42. The demand for large planes was increasing at this airport due to the high fares from small planes and the increase in the number of passengers.

In the same context, the Buddha said that he planned to fly a jet plane. The company has also informed that it is going to bring 2 ATR planes by December 2022.
