Dewahariya Botanical Garden attractive destination for domestic tourists

 

KAILALI, Nov 16: Dewahariya Botanical Garden located in Dhangadhi sub-metropolitan city-7 of Kailali has become an attractive destination for domestic tourists. According to the Botanical Research Center, 26,060 people have visited the garden in just three months of the current financial year.

According to the Botanical Research Center, Rs. 5 lakh 17 thousand 215 revenue was collected from the observation. After the garden has been organized, domestic tourists have started going there every day for observation.

There are more than 200 plants in this garden. From Sal-Saj to Harro-Herb etc. Head of the center Gangadat Bhatta informed that domestic tourists, students and others come for observation.

The center charges Rs.5 for children below 10 years and senior citizens, Rs.10 for students and Rs.20 per person for adults. According to Chief Bhatt, the aim is to make the 149.5 hectare garden the best plant research center in the country.

The garden is in the form of a botanical garden. This park has about 20 hectares of lake area including Jhakhor Lake, Murfutta, Murfutti. Plant research and conservation work has been going on in the park. According to the center, plants such as mentha and gurjo are being researched
