1405 foreigners climbers take permission to scale various peaks this autumn season

KATHMANDU, Nov 14: One thousand 405 foreigners have taken permission to climb various mountains in Nepal this autumn. This autumn 168 teams from 77 different countries have taken permission to climb the mountain. According to the statistics of the Department of Tourism, there are 1,811 men and 324 women who have received permission to climb. From which 9 crore 18 lakh 63 thousand rupees has been received as royalty.

According to the department, 442 people have taken permission for Ama Dablam, the highest number of people who have taken permission to climb the mountain. 2 crore 32 lakh 56 thousand 260 rupees royalty has been received from those who have taken permission to climb Mt. Ama Dablam.

According to the Department of Tourism, 404 people had taken permission for Mt.Manaslu. From which 4 crore 62 lakh 91 thousand rupees royalty has been collected. Similarly, 51 lakh 87 thousand 310 rupees royalty has been received when 156 people took permission to climb Mt.Himlung.

42 people had taken permission to climb Baruntse. It is mentioned in the statistics of the department that 13 lakh 74 thousand rupees have been received as royalties.
