No problem in power supply at Gautam Buddha Airport: Nepal Electricity Authority

BHAIRAHAWA, Nov 10: Nepal Electricity Authority has claimed that there is no problem in electricity supply at Gautam Buddha International Airport. After the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal said that there is no quality power supply at the Gautam Buddha International Airport, the Nepal Electricity Authority has objected.

The Electricity Authority has written a letter to the Civil Aviation Authority Nepal asking for information about the problem. The electricity authority claims to have solved the problem of the airport's power supply in the past by strengthening the system.

However, the Aviation Authority says that there is still a problem with the power supply. Manoj Silwal, head of the distribution department of the electricity authority, says that the aviation authority has been asked about the problem at the airport.

"We have left no stone unturned in the electricity supply at the airport," he said. But it was not possible to understand on what basis the Civil Aviation Authority Nepal said that there was a problem in the power supply.

Silwal complains that he wanted to talk to the leadership of the Aviation Authority but was not contacted. Silwal said that although the airport administration is satisfied with the power supply, it is not understood why the aviation authority has spread such misinformation.

Sanjay Chaudhary, Head of Electrical Department of Gautam Buddha International Airport, says that there is no problem in power supply at present. "There was some problem in the past, now it has been solved," he said.

Choudhary said that the old 'statement' may have been given to the media persons on behalf of the Aviation Authority. According to him, the Electricity Authority is concerned about the problem because the news came based on that.

He said that there is no interruption in the operation of the airport due to the supply of electricity. Chowdhury said that the authority will send the answers to the questions asked by letter and said that they will request to ensure that the electricity will not go off.
