Aviation College to being operates in Pokhara

KATHMANDU, Nov 10: 'Canadian Aviation College Nepal' is going to be operated in Pokhara with the goal of producing 1,000 manpower in the aviation sector annually. The college has been registered with the industry department with the commitment to operate in Kaski's Pokhara.

It is mentioned in the registration details that 62 percent investment in Aviation College will be from Nepalese while 38 percent will be foreign investment.

Dilliraj Subedi, Anil Pia and Rakesh Sanjel are Nepali investors in the college. A total investment of 345 million rupees has been committed in the college.

The college aims to produce 50 fixed wing pilots and 15 rotary wing pilots annually.

In addition, the college aims to produce 750 manpower annually, including plane repair engineers, air traffic controllers, flight dispatchers, cabin crew, fire fighters, ground handling, etc. It is also mentioned that 65 people will get employment in the college.
