KATHMANDU, Nov 07: A Sky Walk Tower has been constructed at Kanyam in Ilam. From this sky walk, you can see a faraway view of Kanyam tea plantations.

To attract tourists, the tower has been built with a joint investment of 5 crore rupees by 16 women entrepreneurs associated with Kanyam Cloud.

Rita Bhusal of Kanyam Cloud said that the Sky Walk was built to show the tourists who came to Kanyam a view of the tea plantation below by climbing the glass tower. "From this sky walk, you can see the view of Kanyam tea plantations in the distance," she said, "Since this is a completely new structure, it is likely to attract more tourists."

Tourists now have to pay Rs 300 per person to enjoy the Sky Walk. She said that after the construction of other structures, the ticket price can reach 500 rupees. "Every tourist who comes to Kanyam will get to enjoy it," she said.

A staircase has been built in the tower. 4 meters wide and 7 meters long glass is placed at the top of the stairs. Tourists can enjoy the view by climbing the glass. According to him, 2 swings, a kindergarten and a restaurant are also being constructed along with the Sky Walk. However, it will take a few months to build those structures.

You can take photos, videos and even wear cultural clothes. Although the tower once had the capacity to climb up to 22 people, it is currently up to 8 people.

There will be a switch cover, a record of the number of people who have boarded, and security guards for the safety of skywalkers. "Kanyam now has a new destination and attraction for tourists," said Bhusal, "after the construction of the rest of the structures, a large number of tourists will stay here."
