Nanglo's Chinese Room restaurant reopens

KATHMANDU, Nov 07: The 49-year-long legacy of  Nanglo Restaurant is back in operation. Officially established in 1978, the Chinese Room 'Nanglo' restaurant has re-opened almost eight years after its closure.

The restaurant which was located on Durbarmarg was closed in December 2014. At present, the restaurant is operating two hundred meters higher than before on Durbar Marg.

The president of the restaurant, Gopal Sunder Lal Kakshapati informed that although the restaurant has been operating since a week ago, the restaurant has been formally re-operated by holding a press conference on Sunday.

The restaurant, which has been re-opened, has a capacity of 54 seats. Kakshapati informed that the restaurant has been put into operation by repeating Indo Chinese food and adding new food according to time. He responded that Swanson food has also been added and more food will be added keeping in mind the customer's taste.

"The old customers have come and congratulated the restaurant for re-opening," said Kakshapati. They are happy to come.
