88,582 tourists visit Nepal in October

KATHMANDU, Nov 04: In the last 10 months, nearly 1 million foreign tourists have entered Nepal. According to the Nepal Tourism Board, the highest number of tourists have entered since the start of the corona virus pandemic in the month of October.

According to the data of the board, only 88 thousand 582 tourists came to Nepal in October. 58 thousand 314 tourists came to Nepal in the month of September. Along with this, from January to October, a total of 4,73,563 tourists have entered the data.

Most of the tourists came from India and America in October. 16 thousand 910 tourists have come from India. 11 thousand 859 tourists from America have come to Nepal this month. According to the board, 7 thousand 117 tourists from the UK, 4 thousand 935 from Germany, 4 thousand 929 from France, 3 thousand 946 from Australia, 2 thousand 720 from Bangladesh came to Nepal in the month of October.
