Taalpokhara attracting tourists

KATHMANDU, Nov 01: Taalpokhara in Rampur of East Palpa has now become a major attractive destination for tourists visiting Palpa. The number of tourists coming to Taalpokhara has also started to increase as it has become the choice of anyone who goes on a holiday to go on an educational observation tour from the outer districts.

Taalpokhara, which erases the glimpse of Phewa Lake, was limited to a small pond until two decades ago. With the expansion of the Taalpokhara area and construction of infrastructure in the form and style of Phewa Lake in Kaski, there has been a significant increase in the number of tourists going to Taalpokhara. Locals say that after Taalpokhara was declared as one hundred tourist destinations by the Lumbini state government, the number of tourists has increased.

According to internal tourist Sagar Bhusal, tourists come from the neighboring districts of Rupandehi, Syangja, Tanahu, East Nawalparasi and other districts along with Palpa to this lake, which is a project of national pride. He said that if Tal Pokhara is promoted more, it will attract more tourists.
