Nepal Airlines to be extend flights to Australia via Ahmedabad, India

KATHMANDU, Oct 23: A two-day interactive program between Nepal Airlines Corporation and GSA (General Sales Agent) has been held in Mumbai and Bangalore, India.

The program was held on 14 and 17 August 2022 with the aim of promoting the business and sales of the corporation.

Yuvraj Adhikari, executive chairman of the corporation, said in the program that the corporation has been flying to various destinations in India since its inception.

He informed that currently Nepal Airlines is flying regularly to Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore in India.

Stating that the corporation's flights are gradually expanding with the improvement of air services after the Corona pandemic, the Chairman said that the target is to go to Australia via Guangzhou in China, Ahmedabad in India and Singapore in the future.

In order to develop and promote the tourism sector in Nepal, the government has declared the period 2023-2033 as the tourism decade.

He also said that since the Gautam Buddha International Airport located in Bhairahawa has been put into operation and the Pokhara International Airport is also in the process of being put into operation, the corporation's services will be made more efficient with time.

More than 120 travel agents, cargo agents and general sales agents discussed various related topics in the program.
