Hotels and lodges in Saleri full of foreign tourists

SOLUKHUMBU, Oct 13: The hotels and lodges of Salleri area, the headquarters of Solukhumbu, are full of foreign tourists. With the sudden increase in the number of tourists going to Khumbu by air and land, the number of foreign tourists has increased in the hotels of Salleri and Phaplu areas.

Hoteliers have said that the arrival of tourists to the headquarter Salleri has increased since some foreign tourists who came to go to the Everest region got off at Phaplu Airport and some of them started going to Khumbu via Salleri by land.

Yangdi Lama, the owner of Everest Hotel Phaplu, said that when the hotel rooms were packed, the tourists had to be turned away. On Monday and Tuesday, more than 3500 tourists landed in Phaplu from more than 25 flights, and tourists also arrived by land.
