NICCI to promote business culture and tourism between Nepal and Italy

KATHMANDU, Oct 13: Nepal-Italy Chamber of Commerce & Industry (NICCI) is going to promote business culture and tourism between Nepal and Italy.

The decision was taken at a bilateral meeting held on Monday between the NICCI.

Business development and investment in Nepal were discussed in the meeting.

Italian Ambassador Vincenzo De Luca said that the Italian Embassy is planning to organize a trade fair of Italian products and all products available in Nepal.

Vice President of NICCI Sanjay Agarwal informed that the NICCI aims to make Nepal part of the 'Grand International Expo' which is going to be held in Rome in 2030.

According to him, the goal has been taken to cover the areas of development and revival of Nepal from the areas and communities threatened by climate change, diversity and inclusion, national and international decentralization and mobility, and digital connectivity for economic and social development.

NICCI has planned to have a pavilion to promote Nepali trade, products and culture at the 'Milan Trade Fair 2023' to be held in Italy in March 2023.

Mr. Vincenzo De Luca, Ambassador of Italy to Nepal, India, Gianluca Rubagoti, Consul General of Kolkata to Italy, Consul General of Delhi to Italy and Pratima Rana Pandey, Consul General of Nepal to Italy were present in the meeting.
