Seven tourists stranded in Mt.Changla

HUMLA, Oct 10: Seven tourists are stranded in Mount Changla in Simkot Rural Municipality of Humla. Five British and two Nepalese tourists were stranded due to snowfall.

They had gone to climb Mt. Changla a week ago. Flight officer Akriti Pradhan informed them that a mountain helicopter was going to rescue them.

Sita Pariyar, Chief District Officer of Humla, said that permission will be given to take the helicopter after receiving the circular from the Ministry of Home Affairs.
