758 climbers climbing mountain in autumn

KATHMANDU, Oct 09: 758 have got permission to climb the mountain in autumn.

The department of tourism has given permission to 95 teams to climb 31 mountains.

 It has the highest number of permits for mountain climbing. In autumn, 404 people got permission to climb Manaslu while only 5 people got permission to climb Mt. Everest

Among those who climbed the highest mountain, 56 people got permission for Amadablam, 131 for Himlung, 17 for Barutse, 34 for Dhaulagiri.

597 men and 188 women have received permission to climb. The deparment of  tourism has already collected Rs 659.99 million in revenue from mountain climbers.
