NAC get 'ISAGO Certificate' from IATA

KATHMANDU, Sep 30: Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) has completed the standards of International Air Transport Association (IATA) Safety Audit for Ground Operations (ISAGO) in ground handling services. Accordingly, NAC's spokesperson Archana Khadka has informed that the ground handling service of the Corporation, Isago, has been certified.

According to since 2016, a safety audit of ground handling service by NAC has been conducted continuously at Tribhuvan International Airport.

NAC has already been certified in load control, passenger and baggage handling, aircraft handling and loading, organization and management, aircraft ground movement, and now it has fulfilled such standards in cargo handling as well. According to the corporation, the standards of ISAGO have been met in all areas of ground handling.

The NAC said that such a certificate of Isago will be granted only if it meets the criteria set by the ISAGO audit conducted periodically by IATA. NAC has also said that it will continuously improve the service.
